BEARLY is a quilt pattern by Robin Pickens. This version of a Bear Paw block pulls the center square out and adds interest in the compass points to the outside edges. Use the large squares for showing off big prints or doing a color study. Alternating blocks have an additional color corner to make the illusion of an interior square within the block. Square size is 73" square, Twin is 73" x 94" and Queen is 94" x 94". Quilts shown use Thatched basics by Robin for Moda Fabrics in two colorway families.
Pattern is for use with your own cotton fabrics. The actual item being sold is the printed pattern for making the quilt, not the actual quilt or fabrics. This pattern is a printed booklet of 8 pages (6 pages plus front and back cover). The pattern booklet size is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Quilt uses Half Square Triangles and basic patchwork piecing with lining up of corners.
